No home remedies for you. But had the same thing happen. Took it to a pro camera shop, they replaced it for under $30? The price included the lens, labor, and a quick cleaning.

wrong section bud but yeah i dont think there is any way of getting rid of it you will probly have to get a new screen. you can try the stuff they use to take scratches of glasses though that might work but ask some one that fixes camera screens first dont want to ruin your camera

look in an eyeglass shop for scratch remover. probably won't work on a thin plastic screen, but worth a try.
