You could use an online concordance to find the exact verse you are looking for.

A lot of people say a lot of things are in the bible; but the scriptures arent really there at all. That is the danger of believeing someone and not searching the scriptures for yourself.

One Great example is the Christmas story how the three wise men came to visit Jesus the night he was born. If you read the book of Matthew; you will find that is not so at all.

Matthew says they found the young child and his parents at a house in Bethlehem.

If Jesus was still an infant; the scriptures would have called Jesus a babe. It also says they were found in a house (not the manger).

there is nothing like this in the bible...although it may be a correct warning. Unfortunately there are lots of things that people say on a regular basis that are accepted as being biblical and are far from it. There are many instances in the old and new testaments that discuss false prophets and the damage they inflict. The most profound to me are the false prophets that caused the fall of jerusalem (Ezekial chapters 7-12) But my favorite scripture in regard to false prophets remains 1John 4...I hope this helps...if you want more help finding examples send me an e-mail

That's not in the Bible, however, the Bible does say this:
Matthew 7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

there is no scripture in the Bible like that...Jesus said the road to destruction [hell] is broard and wide and there are many that are travling on that road....but the road to eternal life is straight and the gate is narrow and there are very few who find it....salvation is a gift from God by His grace through faith in the finished work of His Son when He died for our sins on the cross and rose from the dead for our justifcation....if we belive this and call on Him for forgiveness He will save us and put us on that straight and narrow road and come into our hearts and conform us into His immage....here is a good websit to help answer any of your questions about God and the Bible..... www.christiananswers.com God bless you and Merry Christmas...duncan

You could do a yahoo search instead of wasting your time waiting for an answer :) There are tons of sites with the full bible on it and interpretations. Now my other advice would be to use spell check before asking a question. SKULLS and FALSE PROPHETS and so on. I don't know why so many catholics are so poorly educated. I went to public school thank god.

This is not in the Bible, it's a quote from St. John Chrysostom: "Hell is paved with priests' skulls."

Peace.

Sorry that is not in the Bible
Perhaps you are thinking of the saying
"The road to hell is paved with good intentions"

I know the Bible quite well, and that is not in it. I think Suzanne hit the nail on the head.

I know of no verse that states that, or comes close.
It may be in one of the extra books in the Catholics Bible, but mine does not have it.
