I only read the (part of) God of Small Things, and I found it terribly overrated. It was long on meaningless character development and short on plot.

I fell asleep on the book about half way through and never bothered to finish it.

the goddess of all things sounds like a good book but they both are a good read i have them both in my personal libary. check them both out
