I am London based. Would preferably rather not spend a fortune on a body scrub.

Thanks.

When I was in London I found the body scrubs by The Sanctuary (Spa at Covent Garden...and also available at Boots) to be lovely. The products smell great, aren't too expensive, and they work very well. Try the Salt Scrub, which comes in a glass jar and costs less £8. Their Kyphi Nourishing Hot Sugar Scrub is truly amazing - but I can't get that here in the States. It heats up a little bit when you use it and the granules are small so they slough off even the tiniest bit of unsmoothness. It also contains moisturizing oils - and costs less than £10. A bargain, I'd say.

I follow my body scrub regiment w/ Body Moisture Spray. Really wonderful results!

Okay, just speaking from experience I only use ONE body scrub. Its by Bath and Body Works. Its a Jasmine Vanilla sugar scrub that leaves your skin s0o0o0o0o0 soft. Its a little on the pticy side but definatly worth it. Its 20 dollars, but 20 dollars well spent. With this scrub a little goes a long way. I promise. It leaves your skin silky soft, and you only need to aply just a little bit of it at a time, so it lasts for a ling time. This stuff is great. You can find it at any Bath and Body Works. PS: It comes in different falvors if you dont like Jasmine Vanilla

Clarins body polish is brilliant and costs around £20 if you look for it online

Body Shop Cocoa Butter Scrub is also very good and has a lovely smell - it costs £10 and you can buy it from the body shops website

I use Clarins every once in a while when I want to pamper myself, cocoa butter once a week and I use Boots Botanics Soap bar scrub every day - the latter smells divine and costs about £3

I use Saint Ives facial scrub, you get about for your entire body about 6 applications and it's brilliant, especially if you are fake tanning because it gets rid of annoying lines, but after scrubbing ALWAYS use a oil free body moisturiser to smooth the skin.

Try a sugar based scrub. Apply it onto dry skin.

I know The Body Shop makes reasonable priced scrubs, and they have some yummy scents too.

As per other answer, Sanctuary products are cheap but pretty good. I wouldnt bother paying over the top for a scrub, if you get a decent loofah you wouldnt need a product and can invest in a good body moisturiser instead.

I've got dry skin, and I've found the best thing to use is exfoliating gloves from the Body Shop with a moisturising shower creme/gel. They are only 3.50 pounds (The pound sign doesn't work on my keyboard-sorry!),and not only help make your skin silky smooth, but also gives it a nice glow!

I'm a real fan of Superdrug's Vitamin E Body Scrub - it costs about £2 I believe, and smells fantastic. It's also great at its job and has the added benefit of Vitamin E! Winner all round.

I couldn't live without Avon Sea Salt Body Polish its fantastic and leaves you feeling like you've had a massage with oils. Its about £6 a tub but lasts quite a long time.

Give it a try!
