Okay folks let's wake up and smell the political coffee, for one little second put the conspiracy prune juice away. 1st they'd need 60 senators to vote yes in charges so that won't happen...2nd if by some odd quirk of the universe it did happen and it's just Bush than Cheney would be President and he'd select a new VP more than likely the next Republican Candidate for President..3rd let's say both Bush and Cheney are impeached and booted out..then Pelosi becomes President and the golden girl Hilliary would be out of the limelight.... NONE of these scenarios are helping the Democrats can the Presidency in '08 and that's the prize they want. So sit back and expect a wild election time with Bush and Cheney leaving and some else for you criticize for doing the job you couldn't even dream about doing.

I believe the reason Pelosi took impeacment off the table was to leave Bush in place for two more years, dig a deeper hole and pull the Repubs into it.

I am going for the deeper hole. Bush, his administration and for the most part his supporters had a unilateral, uncompromising, and divisive attitude. He can be kept in check since Republicans lost the House and Senate. I am all for stocking up on popcorn and watching the show. After all, presidenting is hard, hard work.
But this fool won't listen to anyone anyway.
As for accountability, with Congressional oversight, we can
expect lots of hearings, subpoenas, inquiries, and investigations. I am all for letting these go where they will.
If we can indict or impeach Cheney and Bush then go for it.
Let's have some accountability.

We can't be like the Republicans and impeach someone just because we don't like their party affiliation as the Republicans did with Clinton, a blatant abuse of the impeachment process.
We only have to endure two more years of this clown in office. He continues to be one of the best advertisements for the Democrats.

The political reality is that he would never get convicted in the Senate. Because of that an impeachment would be a gigantic waste of time.

If you don't like a person, don't vote for him. Bush has won two Presidential elections, so that must mean some people like him.

We need to help him get out of this mess in Iraq. The more we squabble like this the more American kids die. And innocent Iraqis. We need, together, to find a solution. And Bush needs to listen.
