When people have a chance to interview a Presidential candidate why do they kiss up to them instead of asking real political questions?

It's not just The View, it's also The Daily Show. Remember when John Kerry was on The Daily Show before the 2004 election?

Both of these shows that are for "entertainment purposes" have obvious left wing agendas and take shots at Republicans any chance they get. Is that difficult for you to understand?

The View is a bunch of women sitting around and yapping purely entertainment purposes and the Daily Show is comedy purely for entertainment purposes. Is that difficult for you to understand?

No, I do not watch "the view" anymore. Rosie and Joy are the 2 biggest loudmouths on TV today. They are a disgrace to women, gays, Americans, and our culture. In fact, I don't know anyone who watches the show these days. Elisabeth should really find something else (more conservative) to do on daytime TV. She is not allowed to speak on the view, yet she represents the opinion of conservative and moderate women in the USA.

Forgetting the content of the questions, what got me was the constant yapping over eachother. At one point, 4 different "hosts" were asking questions at the same time. The don't need to be journalists, but they could at least be professional.

They are trying to brainwash the young women who watch the show. Democratic presidential candidates do not like to Answer questions that they were told by their therapists that could make them feel bad.

Those are entertainment, not real news shows. They aim at chat and lite news, not confrontation. Fox will give a cakewalk to administration officials, however. A prime example was Cheney's interview with Brit Hume after he shot his hunting companion.
