He played the Governor, the Indian chief, and a pilot in the thug lineup. (Hedley Lamarr) "That's Hedley!" (Governor) "What are you worried about? This is 1874! You'll be able to sue her!"

Three the Governor, an Indiant Chief and a WWI pilot, although you hear his voice during the "I'm Tired" song
It it set in the 1880s or so, but lots of references to the 1970s

nicely, you may have not said this, yet there is this kind of element as bottling up thoughts and through god you need to work out how nicely a number of those human beings do this! they are waiting to thoroughly drown out the disappointment and turn it into organic happiness, for sure this disappointment has to bypass someplace so as that they vent on the information superhighway, in the experience that they don't vent on the information superhighway, there'll be no outlet; the venting can selection from crying and declaring they are stupid on the information superhighway, to the favourite troll... It probably has some thing to do with God for some human beings, I on the different hand, at the same time as i finished believing in God, it replaced into as if this huge load replaced into taken off my decrease back, not declaring that Atheism is sweet or some thing basically that my existence has been boosting upwards ever considering I not needest care of Hell or Heaven. What weak to such detrimental options is the actual incontrovertible truth that maximum of those human beings are severe schoolers, and severe college, at the same time as it does not seem so, has a lot of complications. fantastically because of all the bullying and all the stresses that little ones ought to attend to. for my section, observations, interactions, and studies, nicely, actual, I have discovered now to not communicate of those products for it makes human beings very disillusioned in course of me and we do not choose that now can we?

People have already given you the parts he played, but as for time frame, who knows. Remember at the end of the movie, they go busting through other sets with updated characters singing and dancing.
Edit... I found on imdb.com this under the goofs portion of movie trivia...The movie takes place in 1874.

I'll check...
According to the IMDB he played:
Gov. William J. LePetomaine/Indian chief/World War I aviator in badmen lineup. So that's only 3 characters. Wikipedia mentions only 2 characters.
"The story is set in the American Old West of 1874 (though it is filled with deliberate anachronistic references to the 1970s). "

I think it 6. But can't recall them all. He was the business man and the hangman - can't remeber the others,. But do recall reading that he played half a dozen characters. It was a really funny movie, pity they don't make them like that anymore.
