Hello everyone!
I live in France but am british and am finding it really difficult to choose a boys name that sounds nice in French and in English!!
What do you think of the first name Harvie ? or Harvey? same name spelt differently! In french it would be pronounced arvie as they never say the h but when he visits the uk it would be Harvey of course. Every name i like sounds terrible in french but I thought this sounded okay in both countries! My other son is called Leighton David (pronounced Layton) and David after his dad. If I have a son i thought Harvie Michael James (michael james after my brother), if it is a girl Jessica Kate (Jessie-Kate). Katie is my name.
Help! What do you think?? Thanks!

I'm not crazy about Harvie. Michael James is nice on it's own and I love the name Leighton! It's what I was going to name my son if I had another one.

I really like that name! Harvie Micheal sounds good together. Only when you say it in French it sounds like RV but if people in France or that speak French don't hear it like that then it's good. Anyway however you pronounce his name is how everyone else will too. You could just correct them. Like my name is Jennifer but when people in Mexico say me name they want to pronounce it with out the J but we just correct them, then they say it correctly.
