Yes.

It is one of the most praiseworthy work, and it touches the subconcious, giving a tingling effect, meaning, that u have done a noble deed.

It is immaterial whether the person thanks u or not, his concious will definately bless u.

Always. Also for women who are pregnant or have young children they have to carry or someone with obvious health problems. It is a matter of respect. Too bad not everyone does it. It should extend pass the bus too. I offer my seat if I am sitting on a bench at the park or waiting to be seated at restaurants too. I can't tell you how many times when I was pregnant or carrying my son in my arms that people didn't offer the same courtesy though. Even still I continue to do it simply because it is the right thing to do

Absolutely. Actually, I ride the bus back and forth to work every day and whenever the seats are all full and there is a woman standing, the guys always give their seats up to let the ladies sit no matter how old the lady is. (People in Western PA still have manners.) :^)

Of course, and in some circles I'm considered old (54) lol. Elderly people are many times fragil and loose balance easier than the younger folk. A broken bone for a senior could mean a wheel chair for the rest of their lives. Please consider this.

once there was this very old lady and i could tell she was havin difficulty standin up...so i offered her my seat...its good to do that because we as young people can stand up for longer...unlike elderly people...so its a selfless good deed!
