I am not spamming here but if you go to: number10.org and sign the petition against road pricing, your vote will count. the government will have to listen as its from the public.

there are over 59,000 signatures on this petition so far and talksport are running a programme on the air to support this

Cannot ever see it working in practice. The logistical problems would be enormous. I believe it is a vain attempt to, excuse the pun, to drive us 'lesser people' off the roads & leave them clear for the supposed elite of society.

What a cash cow that'll be! Introduce it at a low level and then gradually increase it. It'll be only rich people and those with company cars who'll travel anywhere far from home in a car. The rest of us will have to travel like cattle, squashed into filthy trains and crappy, slow buses.

they have to do something to try and preserve the dwindling oil reserves ...road pricing is as good as anything. Just don't let then tell you it's enything to do with the old globel warming con or congestion. ...as congestion will be a happy memory when the oil runs dry.

the govt. selling us out everywhere. in a few years, we will be worrying about more than who owns the roads. we'll end up paying rent to china.

Why worry about what the government does? They do what they will. Public apathy has allowed them to do so.
