You like samurai-style stories. I have two recommendations, both which are now completed in Japan and are easily available for purchase online or if you want to download them via bittorrent:
* Samurai 7 - old school samurai story but told with a futuristic twist. This story owns.
* Samurai Champloo - this is an anime where samurai meet hip hop styles. It's tastefully done, and may remind you a little of cowboy bebop.

Also, I just watched the first 5 episodes of Noir.
They're pretty suspenseful. It's like a combination of La Femme Nikita, The Professional, Da Vinci Code, and The Bourne Identity.
