As in plantation terminology, if we sow something for example a soy seed, we can't just believe that we reap what we sow. A lot of things can happen to ruin what we sow, and maybe we don't get anything. Back to my question, and as the opposite, can you break the bad things to happen if in the middle of doing a bad things you do a good deeds?

There is no way to do something good, by doing a bad thing. For example, you have to murder a child to save the world, you are still a murderer. The ends do not justify the means.

Good can come from bad. You can learn from your mistakes, which is an example of good coming from bad. Your right alot of things are out of your control, theres alot of things to take into account. However, everything needs to be looked after and cared for.

If you sow a good deed and then don't tend to it, chances are it will fall though and all your good intentions wasted. Its true that its the thought that counts, however if there is no action or follow through, the thought can't be proven or truely meant.

You reap what you sow as you have to sow more than a thought, as a thought isn't sowing.

As for the opposite... Doing good things can help make up for bad, doesn't wipe the slate clean. Good can still come from bad even if there is way more bad than good. one single act of kindness can change the course of many things.

One way to look at it is as a bank account. Credits and debits are often interspersed.
With your question as to sowing bad in the middle of good, you could think of that as planting your crops and throwing some seeds for weeds in the middle. Consider that a mistake or a bad deed. The weeds have the potential to grow wild and overshadow the crops. Thus when we make a mistake we're better off to correct it as soon as possible.
ALso, it offsets the good deeds if the only reason you do them is to receive good deeds yourself. They should be a natural outpouring of your love for humanity more than something done for selfish ends. But doing good deeds is better than not doing them, no matter what your reason for doing them. :-)

Did you miss the simple point of the anology? If you sow a soy seed it will produce Soy, period. Nothing was said concerning any other point or possiability. If you dig the seed up every day to measure its progress what happens?? Cause and effect, reap what you sow, & Karma. Actions in thought, word and deed are the creative process in carnal man, This is what creates our life circumstances and our destiny. Choose carefully the thought you allow to enter you mind. what you cite above is choosing conflecting thought and the result is confusion and choas.

I personally believe that if the good of what we do, out weighs the bad, then more good will come to us than bad. You can damage the crops of what we sew, by planting bad seeds, but it wont damage all of the crops. And visa versa. If you plant bad seeds, and a few good ones in the middle, then the good ones will reap good crops. Hopefully it will all balance out in the end, and our scales will tip in the favor or goodness!

I know from experience that God doesn't waste time when it comes to this sort of thing. God allows whatever you do to catch up with you whenever because he lets you know when he approves what you did or when he doesn't regardless of what you're doing.
