I personally hate Christmas and by choice prefer to spend it on my own.
I detest receiving presents at any time of the year although,I do give presents at other times and do not see why we have to wait for this time of the year to show people how we feel and,I agree it is really a time for kids and family to get together.
I am not lonely at all.and am not a scrooge,I just cannot stand all the false caring just for one time of the year.
Do you feel the same?

I like being on my own as well. I enjoy my own company, but that doesn't necessarily mean I'm a loner.
