The film was partially filmed in Godalming, Surrey and the nearby villages of Wonersh and Shere, although for the purposes of the film the town was named "Shere".

It doesn't generally. If you're looking for ye olde worlde places though, the Cotswolds is fairly nice and just outside Cambridge is pretty picturesque

Lots of places it was filmed in Shere and some of it in Godalming where i live.
