Yes, but in the short term. Once people realise that cheap is actually expensive then they will obviously ditch these goods for the more durable and better quality products.

No brainer. Of course it undermines domestic producers. Use your imagination and type in your search engine stuff like, the downside of gloabalization, or the pros and cons of globalization, or cheap goods are undermining America, or offshore businesses hurting America. Use google, use hotpoint, use yahoo, etc. You will get so much information that it will more than provide for you. You might even explore the related area of wages and how globalization is lowering American wages. The sky is the limit.

It is not sufficient to say Cheap goods are made in China.
Many Electrcal products are made in usa outside nys which are cheap and potencally defactive

yes they are, because domestic producers who prouce at their maximum cost, will not really be able to compete with these chinese goods as they produced at a very low cost of production.
