Is electric blue mascara for 'old' women?
Ive got blue eyes, blonde hair and a pink complexion, I dont wear alot of makeup, but usually wear black mascara. Recently Ive been wearing bright blue mascara which I thought looked okay - until yesterday when my friend said I looked like an 'old biddy'!!!!
So, my question is should I bin it and go back to black???

Try using black mascara and then blue just on the tips, it looks awesome

Blue mascara can have a tendency to look a little 'old biddy' lol, but not if you wear it right. Basically teaming it up with shades of blue eyeshadows and a brown eyeliner pencil that's subtle looks awesome. But I would save it for going out, not everyday use.
But definitely do not throw it away lol. Colours are always hot, and it's different too.
So I say black for your regular use, blue when you're feeling wild haha.
ETA: dont listen to people that have a simple yes or no answer lol. I'm make-up artist and it is very possible to make the blue work and look gorgeous.

I like going that extra mile also when using make up. How about using purple instead? It's not as "glowy" if you know what I mean but will still bring out your eyes.
To be honest, there is a stereotype that old women wear blue mascara - which is why people do not wear it. If I were you, I'd use it anyway. Screw what others think. I bet it really suited you and your friend was jealous.

it's up to you...whatever makes you feel pretty, unique and happy should be your top choice!
there are more than just black mascaras...try purple, brown, red, blue or even green for a funky look...you can also use black and a couple swipes or a color for a not so bold look.
Another cool thing i've done is to use black mascara and then sprinkle some bright color lose eye shadow on the tip of my eyelashes...just fool around and have fun!

Wear whatever looks good!
You could team it with some blue eyeliner too - that would look really striking with your blue eyes. It is a bit dated but I've yet to see an old women with blue mascara on!

Blue mascara was ok in like the 80's. But its almost 2007. go for black mascara.

I think that you should do whatever you like best. I mean, you shouldn't look to other people as the judge of how you should look. I think that if you like it, then go for it. Personally, I think that blue mascara with blue eyes is a bit much, but that's just me. You do what you feel best about. I hope this helps!

I think it's a crime to wear blue mascara at any age.
Black or brown/black looks nice on any colour eyes.

yes dear go for black it will surely make you more beautiful and stunning,,,,using your black mascara will show your assets,not everyone is blessed with a pink complexion and a blue eyes too

It might look funny since your eyes are already blue. I say go back to black. I think light-colored eyes with dark makeup looks really sexy.
