If i'm doing four subjects at A level at school, am i taking on too much if i take on another subject at the local college? I'm doing my GSCEs this year.

yes you are taking on too much, stick to 4 subjects. But concentrate on your GCSEs at the moment. Remember GCSEs are the foundation to A-levels, once you pass them you can always pick up the A-levels you are studying now in college. In contrast if you don't pass with high enough grades in GCSEs you can't do any A-levels in college so just prioritise the right level of qualification at the moment i.e. GCSEs. I have begun 4 A-levels courses at college at the moment and they are quite difficult and time consuming so if you want to have a social life of some sort then just stick to 4.

Im in the same position as you... I can personally suggest that you stick to the 4 subjects you have now. By taking more, you are increasing your workload, stress levels. By taking any more subjects you are also jeprodizing your final mark. Unless you are able to handel and keep up with what it being given to you, stick to the 4 you have, do very well in your finals rather than do 5 and do average in your finals.

Yeah you always can do something like further Maths.
