what made you decide to taste it? It doesn't even look nice!
Anyway cerumen (i.e. ear wax) has a pH of between 4 and 5, which is acidic, therefore the reason for the bitter taste.
Now I suggest you try tasting stuff that doesn't come from your body!

The ear wax contains lactic acid,sebum,few dead cells, and also micro-organisms.
These together cause a bitter taste

i used to think that ear wax made wax crayons and that someone went round with a wax detector collecting balls of wax that people had dug out and dropped on the floor. i never tasted it though!

why are you... okay, ive tasted it. It probably tastes bad because it is the body's version of an expletive. Adipose fat is the body's excess crap. you shouldn't eat it because it is repelled natrually to carry boogs away from the body.

Well, like tear drops, nearly every thing excreted by the body is salty and bitter (nt that i have tried).
So the reason shud be the same as the tear drops being salty.
