how can you get an infection this way.. and..?

I read in somebody elses question that you can get infections from anal sex. is it true? how is it possible? also, can you get pregnant this way? i was thinking that you cant since the only way to get pregnant if hes in your other lower area, you know what i mean? but seriously, if its unprotected, just curious, what are the negative effects?

oh okay. that makes sense. cause i just had an UTI recently, and things like that will have you get one.

is there any other ways?

You can get an infection if you have anal sex before having vaginal sex. If he has penetrated the anus, then don't let him switch to the vagina because you WILL end up with a nasty infection. You can get pregnant because (and this is gross, so be prepared) after you are done, the semen he leaves will leak out (it does not stay in until you go to the bathroom) and if it sits in your panties and touches your vagina, you COULD get pregnant. It is VERY unlikely, but it is a good possibility. Although, he should always be wearing a condom for anal sex because it is a LOT easier to catch AIDS because there will probably be some bleeding from you and if the semen and blood touch, you have a lot higher chance of catching something. Plus, if you bleed and you have any residue from a lingering bowel movement, you really don't want that to get in your blood stream either. Basically, anal sex can be kind of dangerous, so be careful and use lots and lots of lubrication.
