Don't. You can't escape it, so go with the flow and try to have a good time, you grumpy elf.

You need not hate any festive period. If you don't want a holiday break, go ahead to your place of work/ office on the Christmas Day, nobody can get you arrested for working on a day generally and publicly declared as a holiday. You understand?

Well! I wouldn't go as far as to say that I hate Christmas but what I will say is that it doesn't mean so much to me, now that my children are all grown up and left home. I think that Christmas time is for children and the grown ups time is New Year. All the best to you, and all who read this, from Sierra One.

Yeah me too. Christmas has become the pagan festival of materialism and false sentiment. It's disgusting. If we only took HALF the money we spent on presents and gifted it to charity it would help the people who really need it immensely. Literally MILLIONS are wasted in the U.K alone every xmas on useless tat that people neither need nor want. On more than one occasion when I've been asked what I would like for a gift I've asked for the money to be given to charity. I'm not a christian either, just incase you're wondering.

Christmas has become a pain. You fell obligated to make gifts. When we where little, we loved it, there was no pressure, we where innocent an exited waiting for Santa. When you grow up, at this time you remember more the ones who are not here, or are far away. Beside it has gone so commercial and so long, you get tired of it.

Is it Christ that you hate; or the craziness that people make the season ; it is a big difference; change starts with one; if you would like to make Christmas the season of love, giving and acknowledging God's awesome gift and our awesome friend, start to make change not complain; start with one , you .

I do not belong to the Christianity faith, but I do enjoy Christmas, Haj, Deepavali, Vesak Days and any other public holidays. At least I do notm have to work on those days and I get to relax with my friends.

Why are you so upset with Christmas?

I also hate Christmas. Since my father died 10 years ago, Christmas has never been the same to me again.
