I recommend dropping in and saying hello and thank you, if they're still teaching. Preferably at the end of term. If they're retired, send them a card or letter, with a note saying how much you appreciate what they did, and how it's had a positive effect on your life. I think a primary teacher would be extremely touched to be remembered and valued after so many years.
I have very fond memories of my primary 4 teacher from 20 years ago, and it's taken me until now to realise that so many of the things I think and the way I learn, and the things I remember, are due to him. I recently found out that he died last year, and I am so sorry that I didn't thank him for having such a positive influence on me. His colleagues say that he would have been very touched.

Go on to Friendsreunited and go to the part where you can discuss or vote on your old school teachers. Maybe you can post some information about how the teacher has influenced your life and how appreciative you are for their efforts.

By being successful.
I recently moved back to my home town, and met some of my teachers from 30 years ago.
It was lovely.
They reminded me of things I used to do (some embarrassing), but they were delighted I could remember them, and that I was doing well.

visited the school where i went for my elementary studies (after 16 years) and surprised everybody by just being there. some of my teachers were teary-eyed and we had fun talking for a couple of hours.they liked to reminisce and swear, they'd tell you things you chose to forgot years ago! they said i was the only one who dropped by after all those years. so i guess, just dropping by and saying hello would be enough.

Remember them kindly and say "hello!" if you see them.
We old teachers always want to hear of what you have achieved and then tell you we always knew you could do it and how proud we are of you
