That is a question that has tortured many scholars and obviously
all of us....Considering that neither could have been without the other coming first, we would have to believe that the chicken came first, because God created all animals along with Adam and Eve, so my answer would be the chicken, because she was created by God and then the egg which she honorably laid for us to feed our dumb selves. lol....but that's just my opinion, if there is a real answer I would love to hear it...later

This is no more a question. It was an egg which came first because the first chicken came out of that egg which was layed by the creature from which todays chicken is evolved

there was once the creature which was almost resemble a modern chicken (maybe some kind of extincted bird which found out that it had enough time of flying and supposed we can also make buffalo wing out from it) and one day something happened with its gene and it became a mutant.. (here i believe that the sex was female, and it didn't need to mate to lay some eggs)
it breed a new different creature.. IN A FORM OF AN EGG
and voila! when the egg broke, its children was a new species! NOW KNOWN AS A CHICKEN (she must have be quite frustated uh?)
this thing believed as evolution, at least my version of evolution...

the chicken, as the egg needs the hen to keep it warm in order that it can hatch. Also the egg has to be fertilesed by the cockrel in order that the egg can hatch. Therefore, the chicken had to come first. God created the chicken with the ability to produce eggs.

Without the chicken, eggs could not be laid, so the chicken came first. All to do with evolution, it even works if you believe God created everything first. I have not found any evidence he created the egg first.
