There is a place where chaos goes into order, its called planets, crystals, life, solar systems, etc. But the overall change in the Universe is to that of chaos. Eventually all of the energy contained in the orderly matter will be freed. As far as your question, no, there is no relationship. Mans advancement follows the pattern of discovery. First we make a few discoveries many years apart. We then build upon that knowledge with new discoveries not possible before the last one. This opens up even more discoveries...and so on, and so forth. Sincerely,

The only thing 'speeding up' about our universe is its rate of expansion. This is not speeding up time, in fact, if anything it would tend to slow time down, just as going faster causes time to slow down - the closer to the speed of light you get the slower time goes, at the speed of light time stops.

Can't see any connection except that the latest discoveries have given scientists more to think about and that might cause advancements in technology.

One of my friends brought up a point to me. If the universe is a system of order going to chaos then that would mean somewhere there must be chaos going into order in the universe. Just a thought and a bunch of IFs.

We could measure it. That's its relationship to technology -- which is a aspect of social evolution. There is no causal relationship.

I don't think there's any correlation but as for Stuart T, it's speeding up.
