Fix NOW dude Seriously if its low on oil its going to ruin your car. The cable needs oiled??? grinding noise from spedometor or tacometer.

Warning lights on the dashboard are their to let one know that there is a problem with your car. Check your owners manual to find out what the warning light means. As far as the grinding noise, I would have a mechanic check that out ASAP. Depending upon the severity of the noise I would consider having the car towed to a garage.

Sounds like you dont know jack **** about cars, orange lights, noises, could be very serious, could be nothing, unless your prepaird to get anouther car cause yours shits the bed, or wrecks because of bad breaks or somthing else, I suggust you go now, because the longer you wait untill christmas the harder it will be to get your car in, also do you know anyone who knows stuff about cars, have them look at it and try and pinpoint what is wrong with it. it will be much cheaper if you can just walk in and say this is what is wrong with my car fix it. if you go in acting like you dont know anything about cars there going to take you for more 50 percent of the time, Also I sugguest you ck your oil level first thing, if it is low do not start your car untill you add more oil,

Orange light, like the check ening light? Abd grinding could be the brakes. I wouldnt wait at all when you hear grinding, have it checked out asap.

The longer you wait the more it will cost you. You will need a scan done to check MIL light and it sounds like a brake job.
