Yes! I love doing that! My mom still gives me crap for that sometimes when she's over, LOL, raw eggs in there!! Salmonella!!

Eating the brownie mix is not better than eating the brownie because ; you can't put a big scoop of vanilla on the mix...and a brownie with ice cream & syrup atop it is Yummy !

Definitely. It's the same with that Pilsbury cookie dough stuff. many packets have been brought into my abode, very few have actually made it onto a baking tray.
