The chapter on Tony Blair is basically closed. He could be the second coming of Christ and people would not give him a second glance now. Which is too bad he had such a long and promising career ahead of him. Another victim of foreign policy and aligning yourself with the wrong leaders.

I totally agree:
B-liar lost all credibility a long time ago and was proved to have repeatedly lied and committed perjury and as an elected official, yet nothing has been done? The other politicians of all parties say nothing, because they are all liars themselves.
What is most galling is that B-liar continues to travel and visit troubled countries making speeches that are meaningless to people who despise him.
Bush and B-liar caused all of their problems and solved nothing.
He should shut up and save a little grace at least for his country.

hardly anyone takes him seriously anymore and of whom believes a single word he says. so my answer is yes. he's irrelevant just as much as he is a liability to this nation. he talks the talk but cnanot walk the walk. of course i understand that you can't offer or give him credit for anything he says anymore. that's because he is unconvincing as a leader and blair has lost touch with the british people who put their faith and trust in him and his party. only to see it being abused.

It is all soundbites, all scripted, all false. But is there anything to choose between any of them? Its a circus, the whole British political scene with the key players out for self aggrandisement and their hangers-on unable to keep their trousers zipped. They make me feel ill the whole lot of them, look at the state of the damn nation.

what blair says definitely poses significance in the uk. part of the problem is that people dont really respect him or take him that seriously. another problem is that he is a lap dog for bush

Well, I don't know about you but Tony Blair is irrelevant for sure. Such an misfortunate fortuity to co-exist with this beloved G.W.Bush!!!

you can`t give him credability because he has none .i think the Middle East would be laughing at his hypocrosy if it wasn`t for all the suffering he`s caused and condoned .The only people who seem to be oblivious is him and his cronies .his legacy will be there for generations ,Anyone who thinks its boring and should be forgotten is as callas and devoid of humanity as he is .

On the bright side soon we'll get to see what Brown's caretaker government will be like - at least he says what he means, whether you like it or not.
