how would u explain the phrase losing respect? i don't want the dictionary def of respect i want the whole thing

Loosing respect is loosing value either in our own eyes or the eyes of others.

You can pattern yourself after a person you admire who sets a good example of him or herself. Losing respect is when that person fails to set that example by losing self control and failing to uphold the good example one has set for him or herself.

Treat bad,not to appreciate the other,decision,point of view,religion,ideas...etc (In some places,to be treated like animal)

To me, it means that the person no longer hold you in high esteem , that he does not have faith any more in your ability to be a person of character.
