Well i searched the author: Graham Greene
But, I like the quote. When you read it, it makes you realize that you can be in a situation like this man; you can have love that doesn't always hurt. It may hurt but there's always at least one person that loves you and won't hurt you.

Graham Greene, the esteemed author of many espionage novels. His stories are textured and insightful and rise above the usual run of spy books. He also is a former espionage officer, I think in Great Britain.
