Yeah, these film prequels were supposed to complete the story, but it has left even more questions?
Who is Anakins Father?
How did Chewbacca and Han meet?
If only 2 there are in the sith, why was there actually 3, Darth Sideous, Darth Maul and Darth Tyrannus?
If it took 20 odd years to build the 1st Death Star, how come the 2nd Bigger Death Star took a lot less?
also in 'Empire' Obi-wan tells Luke to seek out yoda, 'the one who taught me', wait a damn minute, did'nt Qui Gon teach Obi-wan?
just a couple of unanswered questions that Lucas left us hanging on, dammit!!!!
P.S. Gungans and Ewoks should all be destroyed arghhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!

Definitely. It is VERY obvious that the original Star Wars was made much earlier than Phantom Menace. Phantom Menace is pretty much all computer effects, and it is obvious that is so. Even if you watch the updated version of the original, much of the effects are still very dated, though still awesome. In any case, anyone who knows movies at all could easily pick out the older one. Perhaps if you found someone who had never seen ANY movie before, they might have a harder time. Even then I think they'd get it right more times than not. Regarding "advanced Star Wars society," I am not sure what in heck you mean, so I have no answer for that.

Its was a let down the visual effects where fine but the dialogue was cringe making. George Lucas should let someone else tidy up the script and he should have dropped Jar Jar Binks. Ian McDiarmid (Palpatine/Sidious/Emperor) had the best lines and was the most impressive on screen.

well George Lucas wrote the script a long time ago as you know!!
And as he made last 3 sequels first so he cant change the prequel. Its all Planned that way..and when you are making a movie you hv to think about the Screening time. And I totally agree with you that it could hv been much better! But its good! and we enjoyed it!

yea, i agree with u about how darth maul should have had more screen time, but that last battle was still the greatest since he's the only one who has ever had a double lightsaber.

The final fight scene in part 3 is the best scene
Obi one and a young darth vader
What happened to obi one in the old star wars he just stands there and lets darth vader kill him.

But ultimately a farce of a movie i personally thought. What a let down from the original 3. It had none of the atmosphere and the acting and script is sooo wooden.

Lucas has had his head up his *** since 1987. I live in his area, I once saw the house his wife shook him down for in his divorce. Got a garage that splits into two to let a sail boat out. He need to get more asian hoes. Heck,, we all need more asian hoes, sign me up!
