What do you think about authorities calling off the search? It is now a "recovery." Thoughts? Should the search continue until they find something?

Not possible, just after 4 days chances are very slim, imagine 13 days, that's why they called off the search, when they decided to run into that adventure, they knew the risks, besides they didn't carry the proper equipment needed..☺

Yeah the search should continue until they find a couple more bodies. I don't know why people are so shocked when a few idiots go climb up a mountain in an extremely dangerous winter storm season. Then hundreds of people have to spend their time and resources and money looking for them because they are morons. If you make the decision to do some "extreme" sport like climbing a mountain and you die it's your own fault. I'm fed up with seeing this on TV. And I'm sick of hearing how "prepared" they were and that they were "great, skilled" climbers.... Obviously not or they wouldn't be dead..... let it go already

Since the search is now in recovery mode, it's a search for bodies - be good if they're found and receive a proper burial and their families deserve closure. Remember these rescue teams train year-round while getting paid (helicopters and equipment at the ready) and they wait for the opportunity to get called out for actual searches so they can put their expertise to work. Similar to a Fire station or Swat-team on standby waiting for the call to do their job when needed.

I highly doubt they will find them, let alone alive. The other guy they found was dead already...so my guess is the others will be to. I think they should call of the search. Even the families said to call it off. They are spending a lot of money on this.

i wish so. i'm thinking in the event that they have in basic terms dug themselves right into a type of ice caves and have not moved because of the fact they are vulnerable and drained and freezing and probable somebody will discover them quickly. I advise with all this communicate of avalanches, isn't it conceivable that snow has "blocked" their little cave and it particularly is the reason they have not been stumbled on? No clue, yet in basic terms a wager. In a worse case difficulty, i wish we don't hear that they've been stumbled on lifeless from a fall in the gullies or have been overwhelmed below an avalanche. Pray for their risk-free return, that must be a surprising Christmas contemporary to their families.

sorry Alex but I agree it should be called off It is extremely likely the guys are dead and its not right to put other peoples lives in danger to continue looking when they CHOOSE to go there. If I had even a slight indication they were alive I would go look for them myself just so you understand what I am saying here

They packed very lightly with very few rations. The other guy they found was dead and I imagine the other 2 are too. Even if they did find a snow cave, they could have lasted a few days. But not nearly 2 weeks.

i don't believe the climbers will be found alive. i think the mission SHOULD continue until the remaining two bodies are found so that the families can attain closure on the tragedy.

Only miracle can save them. Efforts to trace them alive have been abandoned. Now efforts are for recovery. These efforts should continue unless they are traced dead or alive.
May God help.
