I think you have to acknowlege that you're angry - but then you also have to accept the fact that you aren't going to change stupid people. You simply have to understand that's the way they are, and that's not easy to do when you're reasonably intelligent. As for blowing off steam and allowing your anger to dissipate - I find writing a letter to the person (whether or not you actually SEND it) to be very helpful.

The world is full of stupid people who judge others based on nothing but their own misguided assumptions about what someone probably is, thinks, or does.
I get angry for the moment, and I'll probably know this person will never be my friend; but it isn't worth stewing over or making a giant stink over unless it affects your life in some way.
If it does you can try to communicate with the person and clear up any misunderstandings. There are times, though, when someone's stupidity could cause serious problems in your life - in which case ask an attorney if you could sue.
So in summary:
1. Small stuff - quick flash of anger that you don't even necessarily need to show that person.
2. Life-affecting stuff: Communication
3. Life-damaging stuff: Lawsuits.

I think if you're able to be compassionate that they just don't know what they are doing or saying it provides you with better health not to be angry.
However,
If you want to use your anger in a "proper" way, start educating these "stupid" people. This world lacks knowledge on a escalating level. Society tries to conform everybody into a robot or a lemming. Use your anger to break that barrier down and do something about it.
Stupid people is a general term. Being a person that likes to get educated, I feel I am stupid if I know the problem and only contribute to it, or worse yet, contribute to an attitude of it, by just blindly labeling people and running along on my way. We should all be trying to help this world be more educated, compassionate and understanding!
I have a lot to work towards myself!

If the person is judging you, and you are upset, then you found out about them judging you. How did you find out? Did they say something to your face? Did you hear it from someone else?
You should confront the person in a polite manner and let them know that what they said about you hurt your feelings. Try not to get defensive and keep the conversation short.
Its better to confront the person than to sit and stew about it for ages. Who knows? Maybe if you don't say something, it will still bother you 5 years down the road. Do yourself a favor and confront the person.
By the way, if you hear other people judging others and you don't like it, stand up for the one being judged and tell the person, even if they are your friend, that's its not cool and you don't like it.

Gosh , I dont know what is proper or improper here. Read all those impressive answers by others as well and a lot of opinions on the subject.
My opinion is simple - ignore the 'very stupid' people completely. Why lose your anger over something stupid?

Don't get angry. Get to know them, and let them get to know you. Once they know you, they can form an opinion. Until then, attribute it to stupidity. They don't know you, so don't let it get to you. If it bothers you, confront the person about it.
Hope this helps!

Don't let people who don't know you and are not important to you get to you, there are more important things to worry about. Not everyone is going to like you but thats their problem.
