Yes! I was pretty out of control in my youth, one day I was actually caught on tape acting well, I ran the gauntlet of emotions, pain, anger, rage name it, I did it... While watching with the fam, I laughed and just grinned-and-bore it. Later I took the tape and just Critiqued myself all night. Saw the inner beast, I guess. I've tried to change, I think I have.. But oh, some moments.

Not afraid exactly but not happy. I don't always do the thing the way I should have. But I do the best I can and live with the consequences. Hope I do better the next time. Life is a process right? I only need to keep working on becoming a better person. At least that's what I tell myself.

no. Looking at myself and reflecting objectively on my traits and behaviours can only help me to improve.
If we do not self-reflect, we will continue living life without much breakthroughs in self-improvement.

But when we self-reflect, we must not do so with excessive feelings of guilt, inadequacy or inferiority, otherwise we end up being devastated by the flaws we find in ourselves.

We have to understand that everyone is imperfect and work on ourselves in a positive way, without comparing with others.

I am imperfect myself and working on this :)

People who build themselves into a person they can feel proud to be don't mind reflecting on their own behavior and are fairly certain their behavior reflects well on them as well.

Yes, generally speaking. Still working on the character issues, so there is some degree of behavior modification that needs to happen. Who has time for that right now?

i'm curious to see what i look like. i'm a bit scared but i want to see. have someone follow me around with a video camera for a while. i think that would show me a perspective that i couldn't see otherwise.

yes every time i say something i fear someone elses representation of what i said or if i said it right. i often wonder if i hate the people that are like me too, it just brings me down so i tend to avoid it or be fearful of it
