I'm going to say no. A hand saw implies a sawing motion, and once you cut into your vertebrae and sever your spinal column (that is assuming you had the pain tolerance or just drugged up enough to get there) you would lose motor abilities in your arm, so you wouldn't be able to take your head clean off. Now with a heavy machete on the other hand you could just swing it with a lot of force and just chop your head off with one quick stroke (don't try this at home)

I think probably not. Once you cut your spinal chord your brain would no longer be able to send messages to your arms to work the saw. If you went in through the front you would cut your wind pipe and jugular and drown in your own blood before you could finish the job

Done it manyatime when I've had a few sherbets....its sticking it back on that's the problem.
reminds me of the bloke who 'kissed' this old chaps daughter and so the old chap took the bloke into the shed, put is penis in a vice, pulls the handle out of the vice and throws it into the garden and then gets a hacksaw and put it beside the vice.
"Don't saw if off" says the bloke "I'm not going to" says the old man as he walkes out "I'm going to set fire to the shed"

Probably not, you would hit the jugular and would bleed to death before you would achieve cutting off your head. I would suggest a chain saw, it's quicker! But try not to get too much blood on the carpet, it's a bugger to get out LOL

Not completely. You'd either die at a certain point, or think to yourself 'Has it really come to this?' and just have a mince pie instead.
