If we can ever go back in time, knowing we couldn't change anything, would we go back and investigate the event fromt he inside out? If that were the case people would travel back and be in the towers to be witness to the event. I have heard that many people think there were bombs in and around the towers that helped cuase the devistation. It would be interesting to know if that were true.

Gud imagination. but if time travel is possible everyone would like to see events that were catastrophic...study them in detail , sort of entertainment .. it would result in people going far to watch whether Jesus was really branded with cross and crucified..they very basis of our belief will change ..the science will rule..

ok to be frank i could imagine what it can look like if we can travel back in time...but sure people would watch them back & forth to learn from them and for sure to know the culprit too..

9/11 was no doubt a brutal act that needs to be condemned. But it is over hyped because it was Americas first taste of terrorism. Terrirorism is stricking somewhere or the other everyday and in some parts of the world almost every family has been touched in some way. Some have lost their lives , some their near and dear ones and still others their homes and livelyhood.
If going back back in time will be at all possible there are so many other issues that are to be taken up and investigated. Iraq and why even Vietnam and lots others.

I would go back in time and study what really happend when our country was founded and if the forfathers really wanted what has come to be now. Although I dont believe in time travel because I 1. Think it would destroy the universe somehow stupid is as stupid does. 2. Dont think its possible 3. Some information is not obtainable through man made processes so we could never know exactly what happend in the past even if we could rebuild most of the universe... Call me a vulcan or what ever but I just dont believe and dont want to.

Popeye is very correct, 9/11 has suddenly become the cornerstone of catostrophic events due to the particular location and people on which it was acted. America commit acts of terror on other countries regularly through sanctions or other means, and this is the first time terror was committed on the perpetrator of other brutal acts. The chile campaign, the Iraq war, Iraq sanctions, Nicaragua war, are examples of "our terror against them" which is perfectly justifiable on the basis that of ignorance, whereas when they commit "terror on us", it is unimiginable. It was horrible I will admit, but it is a taste of the foreign policies that the US practices on others.

Don't believe everything you hear. The government is NOT out to get you. In fact, they don't care about you. They'd rather have you alive so they can milk every cent out of you to contribute to the 6 figure wages that all federal government officials make.
