Gender test is a fool proof test like a DNA test to determine the gender of a person. It is applied in some sports activities so that men/women don't get an upper hand in a gender specific athletic events.
It was harsh on S Shantha, by striping her of the title. It is alleged that the Athletic Federation of India was fully aware of her not possessing female charecterstics but still decided to take a chance sine gender test is no longer mandatory. Santhi's case is that of pseudo hermaphrodite where the male organs are not fully developed, and the Y chrosome level is less than normal for a man.
I don't think there is any need to apply this test for marriage.
It will only offend ur would be spouse.

The sex test is to determine whether the athletic is born a male or female.
In some case, a child is born male but have the female hormones and continues to live as a female. As she grows up, she took part in games for only females. This could be an undue advantage as a male competes with a genuine female.
This was what happen in Doha.

It is called ‘Gender Test’ it is used to determine that a female athlete is in fact a complete female. If you doubt the gender of your spouse then opt for the test.

Don't you guys get sex education where you live? If not then I suggest you speak to a married man and ask him to explain the facts of life to you, it baffles me that people have no idea about sex at all, and they feel they need to ask people here for advise, get a book and learn about it yourself!!!
