I was thrown in jail for 3 days for something I didn't do. Someone called the cops and told them I called and threatened to kill them. Since 911, it's called "Terrorists Threats". They checked my phone for their number which wasn't there, but took me to jail anyway. I was with my boyfriend and he told them I didn't make any calls. How do you figure that one out? The DA didn't press any charges, and I was let go, but still spent 3 days in jail where I never belonged in the first place costing taxpayers money. Everyone is not a criminal...yet everyone has the potential.

That was a stalker I had for 6 1/2 years. That person turned my life upside down because I didn't want to be with them. I was terrorized by them. The cops didn't do anything to help me. Our laws are made to protect the criminal not the innocent in America. That person was a pathological liar, predator, obsessed, Bi-polar, depressed, and very evil. That person was killed by another guy 3 years ago this Christmas. Everyone including the cops were happy. The sad part is the guy that killed that person because he was being threatened by a tire iron at the time, wound up killing himself in jail.

Our system is broken in case you haven't noticed. There are a lot of innocent people in jail and/or prison that shouldn't be there, because they were framed, blamed, or in the wrong place at the wrong time. Cops are only human and subject to all the things we are. They can be wrong. They can make mistakes. They can get frustrated with the "system". Each person sees an event differently. Did you ever play that game where you sit in a circle and whisper something to the person next to you? When it got back around to you it was something totally different? There are dishonest cops everywhere. Think about it. They have to deal with the violent part of society every day. They become angry and take it out on other people. Most of them have no clue what's happening to them. You become bitter, and think that everyone is a criminal. It changes your personality, it changes your thinking, it changes you as a person. You see everything, including people butchered. It gets to you eventually without you even realizing. I know, I USED to be a cop.

yelp my brother. and i am not just saying ti because he is my brother. he was at the wrong place at the wrong time. he was trying to be nice and do a favor for someone, by taking his best friends car to the detail shop, which turned out to be a drug dropped. (they were hidden in the door panel.) right now he is working with his lawyers and the DA in tracking down the head people. hopefully he will be out soon. he's been in for 2 years so far.

Sadaam Hussein. Not innocent by any means, but falsely imprisoned.
Stanley Williams, wrongfully executed.
Martha Stewart, bum rap. How many Exxon board members stole millions (if not billions)from their employees.

But no one is truly innocent. They may not truthfully be guilty of the crime in question, but WHO is innocent in the virgin mary kinda of way?

No, but probably at least 2 or 3 per cent could be innocent.

Hard to say.

there are many innocent men in prison, william dedge just got released in florida after dna proved he didn't rape the woman who accused him, no one should be convicteed on eyewitness accounts, they are notoriously unreliable.
