This can occasionally happen beause of antibiotics, but the more likely reason is that your body has had an infection for so long that it is spending all of its energy healing whereever the infection is. You can call the phasrmacy or a doctor and ask them if they thinkthis is a problem, but you most likely will have ur period again when u get better.

If you've been on amoxicillin for more than 10 days, clearly the antibiotics are not working. Depending on what the reason for them is, go and speak to your local pharmacist. While doctors try their best, despite all their training, they do sometimes overlook things. Speak to your pharmacist. While not 'knock' doctors, a pharmacist's training is ONLY concerned with medications, their interactions with each other and their physiological effect on your body. And their advice is free!

If you are on the pill, and taking anti biotics, your pill may not work, many women get pregnant after using anti biotics. You should get a pregnancy test done asap. If you are not pregnant, you should use a second form of birth control (condom's)during and for a month after you have finished using anti biotics. Good luck and get well soon!

I assume you mean you missed your period? No, antibiotics should not affect your menstrual cycle.
