What I mean is this-is it prefferable to lie than to say the truth in certain situations? For example if your girlfriend bought u something like a shirt or sweater...and U hate it should u tell her u dont like it or should u force yourself to say its nice and wear it occassionally.Additionally if your girlfriend asks u if u think she is chubby is it ever ok to be honest?

well i wouldnt be honest on gifts she gives you and her WEIGHT if she asks you do you like this chocolate or type of food you can be honest there cause then you wouldnt have to eat it it does depend on what girl you go out with sometimes there ok with you not likeing a gift and the weight thing lots of girls will WANT you 2 lie if shes chubby always call your girl skinney evern if she IS the fatest girl lol well gud luck xxx hope i helpd bye

I guess i truly prefer the truth..Every guy i've been with has been honest about that stuff and it really never bothered me. All of my family is brutally honest though and so am i, so maybe i was just already used to it.
