As Old Father Christmas is going away
Entering our homes without our permission
Suggests that Old Father Christmas has a terrible condition
Fables tell us that he should be bringing joy to all
But on closer inspection he's been having a ball
With TVs and DVDs wrapped up in his sack
His intention has been only to ransack
His terrible ways have finally come to light
And Young Mr Policeman caught Old Father Christmas in full flight
Running down the High Street carrying his loot
Old Father Christmas was tripped by the Policeman's boot
Old Father Christmas is going away
At Her Majesty's Pleasure he's going to stay
Old Mother Christmas will now have to work
Cos Old Father Christmas has been a jerk
Old Mother Christmas is busy today
Like the rest of us, she'll have to earn her pay.
