It should grow back just fine. It may not be perfectly shaped, or the same colour, but your guppy fry will survive well and will probably not notice.
To speed healing time and improve the end result, keep your water very clean, and feed a variety of high quality foods including frozen brine shrimp, bloodworms, daphnia, etc.

Yes the fish will grow but where the "cut" piece is will heal looking mangled and will remain that way,and he may get picked on because of it by other fish.

your guppy will stil grow......i did the whole guppy breeding thing and even though there is a piece missing it will still grow to adulthood just will not look as pretty when it grow up
