in giving thumbs down? I dont get it why do some of my innocent questions get thumbs down?

I only give a `thumbs down' to a very rude and ignorant answer, but I gain no real satisfaction from my actions.

I wouldn't make too much out of any of it. The way I see it is that there are clusters of people working for each other in here, which is OK. I am more interested in the obscure thoughts or raw data. Sometimes people give a better word show when the are just spacing out.
