Utilize the resources available to you on campus. Join the PreDental Society; who better to help you thru the trial and tribulation of pre-dent than your fellow pre-dent students?

The Career Center also offers excellent advice on how to prepare for and apply to dental school, as well as a wealth of resources:

And make sure to apply to Columbia University, College of Dental Medicine.

Maybe not as your first choice, but use it as a backup school. Columbia has a preference for students from Cal ... something I learned when my ex got rejected by every dental school he applied to except Columbia.

Do well in your pre dental courses. If you find the courses too hard, you can transfer to a different school. But, transferring to another school doesn't mean the courses will be any easier.

If you need help, talk to your advisor. They can direct you to tutoring progams and such that will help you succeed.
