Well this could take on book form.. But yes , I'm sure we all have, I lost both my parents 2 years apart, I was in my mid 30Dy's, Much to young to lose both parents, I had 3 teenagers at the time, And of course they were just being teenagers, but wow what a drain, I've also been married now for 35 years, and have a horrible mar rage, I guess it's always been on the rough side, , but I just realized it several years ago. I got married when I was 16 years old, so I pretty much raised my children, and helped with my aging parents. I think my husband has taken me for the weaker spouse, since I took my parents death so hard and also fought the fight with all my children, and literally wore myself down. He has never let much worry him ,, so he appear to be the stronger of the 2 of us , and has taken advantage of me in many way's . Now that my children are grown and having their own children, I have started standing my ground, he's just can't believe it, I was one weak girl, He tells me things like you will fold like a cheap lawn chair. , and too many things to name.. But at this time in my life I feel like I could move a mountain.. My children all have the greatest love and respect for me . It has all been worth while , all the heart ache and pain, time has mended the passing of my parents, and my children have grown up to be fine , hard working, tax paying citizens.. Now I feel , like the stronger of the 2 of us after 30 + years Wow what a great feeling .. I made it and so can you .. Good Luck to you all

there are so many stories that any one of us can give you at any given time. I agree with this statement 100% because we all go through so much in life, yet somehow we manage to survive. No one person's story is worse than the other because each person has hardships relative to their own life. There may be a quadriplegic that thinks their only hardship is not being able to shop by themselves, and there may be a Super Model who thinks her hardships are not having the right color shoes for the runway. In that moment for her, this is a crisis. We may all laugh, but to her it is very REAL. So everyone has things that they must work through in their lives to be able to get to the next day. Just living day to day is making me a stronger person... how about you?

I was in abusive miserable marriage for 17 years. Last year he started an affair. During all those years with him I was identifying myself with the name calling & the constant verbal abuse. Now I'm getting up on my own feet, restoring self respect, dignity & confidence.
My ex was simply counting on my death as I survived incurrable terminal illness. However I didn't die & now I'm so much stronger.
