Restaurant should be child friendly. Entrees between 10-20 dollars, banquet style serving even better.

Dude, your choices are going to be SO limited here
I wouldn't be getting into the "I'd prefer" thing and just settle on what is going to be available !!
Get out a phone book or call information and find the local Denny's -- some people still call it a restaurant -- and it never closes -- EVER
Otherwise -- call the local restaurant association there and they'll have a list --- I'm sure of that-- but you'll have to do that NOW-- that association's offices will shut down themselves at the close of business on Friday and won't be open again until the day after Christmas !!!

Look in the yellow pages for a Chinese restaraunt. I thought it was a cliche after watching "A Christmas Story" as a child. After two decades of traveling with the military I've discovered two universal truths that apply in every town in America.

1. If I'm on Martin Luther King Jr Drive after dark, I'm in the wrong neighborhood.
2. The only resaurants open on Christmas Day and New Years Eve are Waffle House (in the southeast U.S.) and the local Chinese joint.

Trust me on both items!

Black Angus on Jamboree at the 5 also near El Toro and the 5 there are others but you can always count on the Black Angus...I ate some lonely holiday dinners at the Sizzler on Newport just east of the 5...and there is always the Denny's a perennial Holiday choice one south of Redhill just east of the 5 as well

With all the hotels in the area you should have no problem
cause they all have restaurants. Norm's in the county are always
open.
