if voldemort dies, then what purpose does harry have now? become an auror and live a normal live from then on? what if voldemort lives and harry dies, that would be horrid yet a good book , Rowling said shes been under stress and has been having nightmares about harry. she thinks she might kill him off. and a couple other characters too so when she dies or something other people won't try and make sequels to her harry potter books since he'll be dead.

He will be able to find the horcrux and use it to destroy Voldemort...
Harry will end up teaching the Defense against the dark arts at hogwarts, Ron and Hermione will end up as couple.
Dumbledore will still be on his side to help, I don't know how much faith I have that somehow and in some way he will still be on the last book, because it was a shock for me to learn that he died on the "the half-blood prince"...man, a powerful wizard can't die that easily!

wait and see. But I don't think harry will die. Maybe Snape, Ginny and a few other major characters will. But rowlin is hinting that she might kill him off so who knows.
