My good friend was just in an accident not that long ago due to black ice, also. Thank God she's alright...Just some bumps and bruises.

Yes. Hit a patch of "black" ice and then hit a parked car. I was 2 minutes away from my work. The car a hit was totalled because of the way it went into the hydro pole. Mine was nearly totalled. I was only going 40km.s an hour. Not nice to remember. Hate driving in winter.

I lived in NY for many years and only had an accident once. I was cut off slid across 4 lanes of traffic and hit the guard rail, I was not hurt, the bumper was hurt a little bit, and all my step dad cared about was me, what a great guy. I miss him. Oops sorry the holidays make me sentimental

Snow/icy roads are difficult to drive on. You've got to know what you are doing but it can be out of your control as well.

Never had an accident driving in snow. But I've had a few scares by other drivers

When diving in the snow, all drive slower, and remember, all reactions are slower... Slower brakes, turns etc. When just sleet, if the roads are below freezing....take more time.....Just freesing rain to the road... call a cab. Take the bus. Not worth injury to you or other..If driving in all three..snow acts as traction, if snow 1st...If freesing rain came 1st refur to freezing rain rules...Past incidents, yes!

Yes. Last year, I was taking my boyfriend to the mall in a near by town and I went to adjust the heat and ran into a patch of ice on the road. Our car nearly flipped over. It was terrifying!

BLACK ICE IS VERY DANGEROUS NOT ONLY FOR DRIVERS BUT FOR PEDESTRIANS AS WELL.

IT'S SO HARD TO SEE BLACK ICE UNTIL IT'S TOO LATE.

I'M GLAD YOU FRIEND IS OKAY. BEING IN A CAR ACCIDENT IN THE BEST WEATHER IS NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE.
