I'm not sure if it will be white all winter, but I know it will definitely at least be white for a while. Temps and precip are supposed to be normal.

Do you mean 'White Christmas' or do you mean will Roanoke have snow this winter? If you look up seasonal precipitation on the internet and see what the weather patterns typically are for the area, then yes, perhaps you will get some snow.

Not particularly, no. Firstly, the high temperatures this week are in the upper 50's. Secondly, we are in the middle of an El Nino weather pattern, which results in mild winters for the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic. There may be slightly above-average precipitation in the Southeast, which Virginia borders, but it falls as rain due to higher than normal temperatures.

I dont think Roanoke or even anywhere from New York n south is going to get snow anytime soon.
