Magic Johnson does not have AIDS, he's HIV positive, and the virus is being successfully controlled through medication, exercise and proper diet. There is a difference between having the virus and having full blown AIDS.
Magic has admitted that he contracted the HIV virus through promiscuous heterosexual sex.
