No, the class divisions are too great, it's the Rich vs.The poor. It's always been that way throught history, the rich few hold the power and the poor suffer. Like gas right now, most of what we are paying for is an government applied tax. Now I'm too broke to pay for my oil and the government ends up paying for it anyways. Whatever candite the Dems choose there will be division, upper white class liberals like Hillary, Lower to middle class poor blacks like Barak, and Hispanics tend to vote for Hillary. It was stupid of them to run in the same race against each other, Obama should have quietly ceded and ran in a few years. He's too young and too controversial. Let Hillary have this election and then next time you get your turn. Maybe in eight years I would vite for him, but he's too young, politics is all about experience, and if you don't have any especially with the people that get **** done, he wont be able to affect any of the change he spouts. If anything the world is watching this election.......

Since Sperms and Ovum are just made of various protiens it seems logical the we should be able. But i am almost certain that there is a factor we have missed. Cos protein isnt alive and yet sperm appears to be living so the question is what is it we have to do to make it move????

Eventually I suspect that creation of sperm and ova might be possible.
However, since what you're describing is essentially the creation of a mono chromosomal cell, with specific attributes... I don't see it as occurring anytime soon.
We still lack the technology to create cells from scratch at this point, so making sperm and ova is a challenge that is far off.
On the other hand, using extent cloning technology, it might be possible to raise and create sperm and ova in the laboratory - another means might involve using surrogate critters to generate sperm and ova...
Interesting question though...
And we'll see where this goes...

Being an adult male I'm sure I could make sperm in a labratory, but I know what you mean. We are begining to propagate life in some very interesting ways, but I think what you have in mind if ever possible is still a very long way off.

No, why make the whole thing when you can just clone things or transfer DNA. Think about that. May be they can in future, but no one will bother because it really has no good practical use. May be they can genetically engineer humans to produce different type of sperm or whatever, but no one will go out trying to make sperm from skretch.

If it happens at all it will be via the cloning of cells. However I can see no value in lab generated material of this kind. Far more advanced would be to clone uterine cells and be able to gestate babies in large lab jars, I think.
Imagine the liberation of women not having to lose their figures and go through hours of agony giving birth!!! Imagine how doctors would be able to physically see how the baby is growing and spot any problems early on!
If only ...................

Why would they want to? There's already over 6 BILLION people on this planet, and no shortage of people who feel the need to prove that their genetalia is functional by constantly, needlessly, and unnecessarily reproducing themselves.

...sounds kinda hard, because of the following:
it takes the activity of 4 different glands for sperm cells to mature properly and to be able to fertilize the egg...
as in takes specific hormones for the egg to mature...
sperm and egg are specialized cells that undergo specific complicated and cyclic behaviour...even if we manage to "clone" them, they still won't be "programmed" to function properly...
