I just saw it today and think that it's amazing. Really makes me think. Does anyone think that it's possible? Do you think that its just a movie and some really good imagination compiled? Please share your opinions. Thanks

Animatrix~ I thought it was a wonderful compilation!^-^ I had fun watching it, it's almost as wonderful as Miyazaki films! I definitely love the one where a girl was looking for her chubby cat and ended up in a place with a bunch of kids and they can float and everything.. turns out there was a "bug" and it got fixed by the smith people.. too bad, it was such a wonderful place.. o_o.. but yeah! Animatrix is cool! and I hope we don't get too advanced like that or else the evil metal squids will kill us all.. dangerous things..

it was good. gives you some backstory and history of that world. I think it's possible, it touches on the idea of if the brain is a physical machine that can be duplicated in artificial life. Although the matrix "conciousness" (self awareness) seems to be built into the programming of the machine. Not even as a metal or whatever machine itself that simulates free thinking but it is broken down into code of if then statements and the like. Maybe a thought of how to create such a thing.

I've studied this a little as a philosophy student and i don't think we entirely worked out exactly what the brain is doing and how it creates consciousness. But scientists are discovering lots. If we can replicate this then the machines would think just like us and they could one day get pissed and take thier own fate into thier hands and be concerned about thier survival and well being.

intense prequel to the matrix trilogy. great concepts although I'm not sure if the synaptic techonology will be entirely possible. but yes, pretty outstanding imaginative powers by the w. brothers, a nice soundtrack, and one of the more impressive animation projects.

No it's about reality we aren't supposed to know...but information is only allowed to slip out indirectly! Someone told me the 2nd & 3rd Matrix have been dissolved a lot cause the first one disturbed mass population too much! So cartoons is another alternative.!

I wanted to like it. I rented it. I tried to watch it, but fell asleep. I still wanted to see it, I figured it was just me being too tired. I tried again, and again, I failed to really get into it. I should have been cool. It should have been better. Rather disappointing and totally forgettable.

i dont think if we advance ourselves that far, we would be stupid enough to overlook some kind of precaution to prevent that... especially after the movie came out.
